Dragons 4 Hour Marathon Sword Returned to her

Fort Worth Marathon

Dragon Reclaims 4 hour Sword (Marathon)

At the half way point (2 hours flat), I was firmly in control. Near mile 16 as the temperature began to have a 7 in front of it, 45 at start, the nice dragon grabbed the 4 hour sword and proclaimed it hers.

We wrestled until mile 23, at which time I relinquished the 4 hour sword to her in order to focus on my body parts that felt as if they were coming off   (legs, thighs, calf, several toes now without nails.) All good and very rewarding !

After a 4:06, the sword is hers…. for now !

Have a great rest of the weekend.

John AKA lactic acid legs !

PS A common occurrence, my name was misspelled “Krale” … all good, and not unusual.

Radio Show a Success … First Marathon of the season tomorrow …

All yea listeners, thanks a bunch.

The afore mentioned radio show post went terrifically. Next time a monitor for my heart beat and blood pressure would be interesting.

Marathon Time

Tomorrow, in Fort Worth Texas I hope to put the first of 3-4 fall/winter marathons under my belt. Long runs have been a bit elusive due to time constraints.

Anything under 4 on this one will be considered a winner !

Fort Worth Marathon

Have a great weekend to all !

Run like the wind !

Live on Sirius Radio Financial Show … Sore Marathon training

Waiting for the call currently from the producer for a business talk Sirius satellite radio show.

A bit nervous..Sirius

Hoping for good callers and a nice exchange from the host and myself.

Next post, I will update.

Anyone else sore from their last few long runs?

After 16 miles on Saturday, this coming Sunday marks the first marathon of the season.

Good luck fellow runners… Fingers crossed for a good first “Live” show too…in just a few minutes!

Halloween and Marathon Training

With the Mrs. favorite party day being Halloween, I thought a picture of the festivities my be neat.

2014 Halloween

Most chattie Mime ever!

This weekend lent itself to a cooler sixteen mile run in preparation for the annual Fort Worth Marathon, run like a cheetah, next weekend.

Last year a 3:55 was carded, but while the miles are greater, longer runs have been absent this training season due to a packed schedule.

Good luck fellow marathoners as the coolness sets in, the season begins!
